Hello!

My name is AJ! I have lived in Reno my whole life and I’m currently studying at the University of Nevada, Reno in hopes to pursue a degree in Accounting and Information Systems so that I can continue working here at UNR once I graduate. As of right now, I work on campus at the Facilities Maintenance Services Warehouse where we work with various facilities staff to keep campus clean and habitable.

A lot of my skills are based on my drive to work in fast paced environments and will to learn. I strive to work hard and effectively communicate with my peers in order to get the work done. I also keep an eye on the details to ensure that my work is at its best as much as I can. Having said this, the careers I’m interested are CPA work and general accounting jobs.

When I’m not working or at school I like to spend time with my friends and family and listening to music (my favorite band is The Front Bottoms). I try to go to live music shows here in Reno as much as I can, I love the music community we have.

I am passionate about helping people and making the world a better place. Just a little kindness truly goes a long way and its not hard to offer a hand to someone is falling down. Be good.

My main goal in life is to be successful and happy. I believe we have to struggle to learn but I have seen the repercussions of poor choices leading to lifelong struggle first hand and I don’t want to live like that. I want to find a good job that treats me well and retire early so I can spend my time traveling and connecting with people.
