AI Assisted Information Systems Resume

For my AI generated resumes I used the following prompt in addition to uploading my original resume to the prompt;

“Can you take my resume and make two different versions? For version number one, I need you to target it towards the accounting field. For version two I need you to target the information systems field. Each of these versions should reflect how my skills and experiences might be reframed to fit each of the mentioned industries. Please keep it in the same format and style.”

While I did have to ask the AI to tweak a few things and I later had to manually fix some of the formatting, I found this prompt very helpful and it gave me the on task and focused result you see on this page.  I noticed the biggest changes were really the vocabulary and the way the AI branched out on each of my bullet points, I think it did a really good job at redirecting my original points to appeal to each industry I’m interested in.

I learned that being clear and specific about what you want from the Ai system when writing your prompt will give you much better results on the first few, if not first prompt. If you remain clear when drafting a prompt for AI, you can do virtually anything and get results for whatever you might need.
